Site-specific installation, seven years in Saigon.
The exhibition is the artist’s experimentation on reconstructing an existing space and practicing site-specific installation.
Xuân Hạ’s work initially driven by her desire to bid a farewell to the last few years when she has undergone major transformations both physically and emotionally. The memories of certain spaces / situations were overthrowned in the formation of other spaces / situations. The remaining things in one’s mind were condensed or taken apart in the aftermath of a period. Xuân Hạ’s work is a quasi-documentation derived from the constant negiotiation between the artist and the rapidly changing surroundings as well as her humble attempt to make sense of the everyday.
Audiences are invited into a space in which they would experience an encounter with what constitutes one’s mind - a metaphorical site where fragments of one’s personal narratives are presented in their sheer ordinariness.

Triển lãm là một thử nghiệm của nghệ sĩ trong việc tái cấu trúc một không gian sẵn có và thực hành sắp đặt site-specific (biệt vị)
Tác phẩm của Xuân Hạ bắt nguồn từ nhu cầu từ biệt một quãng thời gian mà cô đã trải qua những biến đổi lớn cả về mặt tâm lý lẫn thể chất. Những ký ức của một nơi chốn / tình huống cũ bị lật đổ trong sự hình thành của một nơi chốn / tình huống mới. Những thứ còn sót lại trong tâm trí được cô đọng hoặc phân rã trong tàn dư của một quá trình. Tác phẩm là tập hợp những ghi chép nảy sinh từ những thương lượng không ngừng giữa một cá nhân với sự thay đổi liên tục của môi trường sống và nỗ lực tìm kiếm ý nghĩa của những điều thường ngày.
Khán giả được mời tham gia vào một không gian nơi họ sẽ trải nghiệm một cuộc gặp gỡ với những gì tạo nên tâm trí của một người khác – một không gian mang tính ẩn dụ được xây dựng để những phân mảnh trong câu chuyện riêng tư của nghệ sĩ được trình hiện trong sự tầm thường giản dị của chính chúng.
