A journey with my girlfriend. Images from the journey up North. The sound of the silence. A short film.

A film - director's diary during a trip from the South to the North with her girlfriend. Contemplating about consciousness and possessiveness translated onto screen in the form of the Vietnamese and English title. The title "Nothing" was extracted from the slogan "Nothing is more precious than independency and freedom". The act of extracting, the obsession of the relation between human and their surroundings and of possessiveness appeared on screen through different cinematic techniques: shots that only review a part of the body, the frames inside of the moving images, the separation of sound and images, voices and faces, and the act of using texts on black background without sound.
